Rolesville NC Real Estate
The Town of Rolesville is a growing community located approximately fourteen miles northeast of Raleigh, the state capitol. Often viewed as a bedroom community for commuters who work in Downtown Raleigh or Research Triangle Park, Rolesville has a growing population of nearly 2,800 – making it the smallest town in Wake County. For over a century and a half, Rolesville has been a small and rural farming community; however, recent times have caused many farms to be sold to both residential and commercial developers. Thus, the town has adopted a strategic plan for growth.

Why Choose Rolesville Real Estate?
Within the Town of Rolesville, some recent developmental achievements include:
- Construction of Sanford Creek Elementary, Rolesville's second school since the establishment of Rolesville Elementary in 1832;
- Opening of a new Town Hall to better serve board meetings and sponsored programs;
- Construction of a U.S. 401 Rolesville Bypass to help alleviate traffic in Downtown Rolesville and to attract commercial development; and,
- Establishment of a new Wake Technical Community College (a.k.a. Northern Wake Campus) located in North Raleigh which is only minutes away from the Town of Rolesville.
Being one of the fastest growing community's in both Wake County and the state of North Carolina, Rolesville has developed a plan for residential and commercial developments. Goals within the Town of Rolesville's plan include developing master-planned communities that incorporate a variety of housing options, restaurants, grocery stores, shops, parks, and other amenities within walking distance of one another. Rolesville's new home communities will, in turn, create a network of neighborhoods to help promote active involvement amongst its residents.
With Rolesville's growing population, the town has been proactive in reserving open space for local parks, greenways, and trails. In fact, the Town of Rolesville has developed an Open Space and Greenway Plan which will not only create a greenway system amongst the community's neighborhoods, but will also link to the existing greenway systems of surrounding communities such as Raleigh and Wake Forest. The construction of Main Street Park in the heart of town is an example of how Rolesville has implemented this plan. Encompassing thirty-six acres of land, Main Street Park is being constructed in phases. Currently, the park features playing fields, playground equipment, picnic shelters with outdoor grills, an educational arboretum, nature trails, a greenway trail circling the park with exercise stations, as well as restroom facilities. Upon completion of Main Street Park, the site will be home to Rolesville's first community center and will serve as a corridor to the Sanford Creek Greenway which will connect the Town of Rolesville to the Town of Wake Forest.
Overall, the Town of Rolesville has and will continue to respond proactively its remarkable growth. With the achievements and initiatives outlined above, Rolesville NC is committed to maintaining its small-town charm while meeting the residential and commercial needs of its residents.
