Fuquay Varina NC Real Estate
The hyphenated name, Fuquay-Varina, emerged in 1963 when two neighboring towns (Fuquay Springs and Varina) grew together around the development of the local transportation network and tobacco farming. This combination of these communities established the area as a prominent trading center for southern Wake County and neighboring counties. Today, the area is in a prime location in relation to the state capital of Raleigh, the Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), and major thoroughfares leading to other metropolitan ares in the Southeast.
