During the month of August, the Town of Cary hosts one of the largest arts and crafts festivals in the Southeast – Lazy Daze Festival. The festival draws nearly 60,000 attendees who are in search of handmade arts, crafts, jewelry, and clothing. The festival features live entertainment, music, food, and drinks.
Cultural events and other activities also occur regularly at the Page-Walker Hotel, which is located in Cary's downtown area and is also known as the Page-Walker Arts and History Center.
